Join us on Friday 28th February for a special day at the Six Bells, starting with our monthly Coffee Morning, followed by our very first AGM.

The coffee morning is a chance to pop in, enjoy a cuppa and delicious home baked cake, catch up with neighbours and soak up that brilliant Six Bells community spirit.

Straight after, we’ll be holding our first-ever AGM, a real milestone for the campaign. This is the moment we begin our transition from being founder-led to democratically led, as our current steering group steps down and the future leadership of the Six Bells is shaped by its members.

10.30 - Coffee Morning

Pop in for a cuppa, a slice of something home-baked and delicious and a good chat at our regular monthly coffee morning, alongside our Repair Café.


12.30 - Bring & Share Lunch

If you’re staying on for the AGM, we’ll be sharing lunch together. Please bring along something you’re happy to share with others - sweet or savoury, homemade or shop-bought, all very welcome.

1pm - AGM

As Save the Six Bells is a Community Benefit Society, this AGM marks an important milestone. We’ll be formally transitioning from founder-appointed directors to a democratically elected board.
This means that the current steering group including the Chair, Secretary and Treasurer will stand down, and any member aged 18 or over is eligible to stand for election (including previous steering group members).
